DIAGNOSIS The projector is getting power (lamp lights up) but the 3LCD panels aren't receiving a valid signal or are being blocked. The most common cause is an incorrect source or input setting.
FIX First, press the 'Source' button on the remote or top panel. Cycle through HDMI1, HDMI2, etc., until your image appears. If still black, check that your source device (laptop, streaming stick) is powered on and outputting a signal. Try a different HDMI cable. Ensure any connected device isn't stuck in a weird resolution the projector can't sync to.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal signal board might have a loose connection or fault. Unplug the projector, wait 60 seconds, and plug it back in to force a hardware reset. If the problem persists, it's likely a deeper internal issue requiring service.
HEADS UP Don't mistake the 'A/V Mute' function for a black screen issue. Press the 'A/V Mute' button on the remote to toggle it off—the screen will go black when this is active, but the lamp is still on.
