my epson wf-2860 is getting ink on the back of every page i print. what's the fix?

Ink is smearing from the paper guide rollers. Run the Paper Guide Cleaning utility.

1. Load plain Letter (8.5x11 in) or A4 paper.
2. Press the Home button.
3. Select Maintenance.
4. Scroll down and select Paper Guide Cleaning.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions. The printer will feed a sheet to clean the guides.
6. Repeat until a test page comes out clean.

If that didn't work: The print head path inside the printer may be smeared. This requires a more involved manual cleaning of the translucent film inside the printer with a specific water and mild detergent mixture. If you're not comfortable opening the unit, consider contacting service.
