can i completely turn off the wifi on my epson wf-2860? i'm only using usb now.

Yes. Disable the Wi-Fi features.

First, note your product's SSID, password, and any Epson Connect service settings, as you'll need them to re-enable Wi-Fi later.

1. Press the Home button.
2. Select the Wi-Fi icon.
3. Select Wi-Fi (Recommended).
4. Select Change Settings.
5. Select Others.
6. Select Disable Wi-Fi.
7. Select Start Setup to confirm.
8. When finished, press the Home button.

The printer will no longer broadcast or search for wireless networks.
