my induction base just beeps three times and won't start heating, all connections are fine

DIAGNOSIS The lid is not properly locked or the float valve is up. The base safety sensor is preventing operation.

FIX Check the lid alignment. Arrow on lid must align with lock symbol on pot. Ensure the float valve is in the down position before you start. Press the 'Keep Warm/Cancel' button to reset the control panel. Then press your desired function button again.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check the pressure regulator. Ensure it is set to the sealing position, not left on 'VENT'. A misaligned or damaged magnetic lid lock sensor in the handle can also cause this.

HEADS UP The three-beep error is a critical safety lockout. Do not try to bypass it by holding buttons or placing a magnet on the sensor. Address the underlying issue.
