my irobot braava jet m6 keeps saying low battery but it's been on the charger all day, what's going on?

— asked by Jake

The robot isn't making proper contact with the charging station. Check the contacts.

  1. Slide the robot off the charging station.
  2. Wipe the four metal charging contacts on the bottom of the robot and the two contacts on the charging station with a dry cloth.
  3. Make sure the charging station is plugged in and the area around it is clear.
  4. Slide the robot back onto the station. The light ring will pulse while charging and turn solid when fully charged.

If that didn't work, the battery may need a reset. Remove the robot from the station and hold down the HOME button for 10 seconds until all lights go off. Then place it back on the charger for 3 hours.

Heads up: For long-term storage, you must turn the robot off using that same 10-second HOME button hold. Store it in a cool, dry place.
