my ispring t32m tank is taking forever to fill, like hours and it's still not full, what's going on?

Your incoming water pressure is likely below the 45 PSI minimum. That pressure isn't strong enough to push water through the RO membrane efficiently. The system drains continuously and the tank never fills.

  1. Check your home's water pressure. If it's below 45 PSI, you need to install a booster pump.
  2. Verify the Tank Shut-off Valve is ON. The valve handle should be in line with the yellow tubing.
  3. Double-check all tubing connections. A single incorrect hookup can stop flow.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The Automatic Shut-Off Valve or check valve could be defective. To test, fill a few glasses from the RO faucet, then close the blue valve on top of the tank. Wait five minutes. If the drain line is still flowing, one of those valves is faulty.

HEADS UP: Normal fill time is 1.5 to 2.5 hours. It's slower with cold water (below 40°F), high TDS (over 750 ppm), or low PSI.
