my keurig k-classic won't turn on at all, power button does nothing

The power circuit is interrupted. Check the basics first.

  1. Plug the brewer into its own grounded outlet. If the circuit is overloaded with other appliances, it may not function. Use a separate circuit if possible.
  2. Check the plug is secure in the wall outlet.
  3. Try a different outlet.
  4. Reset the circuit breaker if necessary.
  5. Ensure the Power Button on the front is pressed and illuminated.

If that didn't work: If the brewer was stored in a cold or freezing environment, wait at least two hours for it to reach room temperature before trying to power it on. Condensation or freezing inside can cause damage.

Heads up: This brewer must be grounded using a 3-hole properly grounded outlet. Do not cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. If you only have a 2-prong outlet, you need to have it replaced.
