You need to enable HDR and check your color mode settings.
- Enable HDR: This monitor supports HDR10. Go to the On-Screen Menu > Picture > HDR Effect and turn it 'On'.
- Check Source: Ensure the content you're watching is actual HDR content. The monitor will not magically upconvert SDR.
- Calibrated Color: This monitor has a 'Color Calibrated' feature. Go to Picture > Color Calibrated and ensure it's enabled for accurate sRGB color (98% typical).
- Reader Mode/Color Weakness: Make sure 'Reader Mode' and 'Color Weakness' modes are turned off in the Picture menu, as they apply strong color filters.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Reset all picture settings to default via the On-Screen Menu's 'General' settings. Then re-enable HDR and Color Calibrated mode.
HEADS UP: The panel is IPS with a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1. It won't have the deep blacks of an OLED, so some 'washed out' feel in dark scenes is inherent to the technology.
