DIAGNOSIS The saw isn't getting power. The most likely cause is a tripped thermal overload protector, which happens if the motor overheats, or a faulty power connection.
FIX Unplug the saw immediately and let it cool down completely for at least 30 minutes in a cool spot. After cooling, plug it directly into a known-good wall outlet, not a power strip or extension cord.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check the power cord for any cuts, kinks, or damage, especially near the plug and where it enters the saw. A damaged cord can interrupt power.
HEADS UP Never bypass the thermal overload; it's a critical safety feature. If it trips repeatedly during normal use, the motor or internal wiring may be faulty.
