DIAGNOSIS The power isn't reaching the unit. The most likely cause is a failed thermal fuse in the base, a common failure point after overheating or a power surge.
FIX First, check the wall outlet with another device. If it's good, the issue is internal. Unplug the machine, turn it upside down, and remove the base screws to access the internal fuse. You'll need to test the small, white thermal fuse (usually near the heating element wires) with a multimeter for continuity. If it's blown, you must replace it with an identical-rated fuse (commonly 250V, 10A, 142°C). Solder it in place, reassemble, and test.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The main power switch or wiring harness inside the control panel could be faulty. Inspect for any loose or burnt wire connections.
