DIAGNOSIS Coil whine from the power supply or backlight inverter components. It's a physical vibration. Common on this model at specific brightness levels or refresh rates.
FIX Change the refresh rate. In Windows display settings, try switching from 240Hz to 144Hz or 120Hz. The noise often changes or stops at a different frequency. Also, adjust the brightness up or down from your current setting.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The whine may be tied to local dimming. Go to the OSD menu: System → Local Dimming → set to Off or Auto. See if the noise changes.
HEADS UP This is rarely a safety defect. It is an annoyance. If the noise is extreme and changes with screen content, it is likely normal for this unit. Exchange it early if it bothers you. The sound does not indicate imminent failure.
