How to Fix It
To resolve the F1 error, you must replace the oven temperature sensor. For the NX60A6511SS model, this is a straightforward process that requires basic tools.
- Power Down: Disconnect the range from the 120V power outlet or switch off the dedicated circuit breaker in your electrical panel. Do not attempt this while the unit is energized.
- Clear the Cavity: Remove all oven racks and any baking sheets to provide unobstructed access to the interior walls.
- Locate the Sensor: Look at the upper back wall of the oven cavity. The temperature sensor is a small, metal probe (roughly 2-3 inches long) protruding from the back panel.

If That Didn't Work

- Replace the Main PCB: If the sensor is verified as working (correct ohms) and the wiring is intact, the fault lies in the analog-to-digital converter on the main control board. You will need to remove the rear access panel of the range and replace the main power board.
