nutribullet ultra just stopped in the middle of blending and won't turn back on, no lights nothing

— asked by Jamie

DIAGNOSIS: The thermal safety fuse inside the base has tripped because the motor overheated. It needs to cool down completely to reset.

FIX: Unplug the base from the wall outlet. Move it to a cool, well-ventilated spot. Let it sit for at least 45 minutes to an hour—the internal components hold heat for a long time. After it's fully cool, plug it back in. You should see the standby light. Do not immediately try to blend again.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If it's still completely dead after a full cool-down, check your outlet with another appliance. If the outlet is good, the internal thermal fuse may have blown permanently, or the motor could have failed. There's no user-serviceable reset button.

HEADS UP: This happens from exceeding the one-minute maximum run time, especially with heavy loads. If you keep tripping it, you'll eventually burn out the motor. Treat it as a series of short pulses, not a continuous-run blender.
