DIAGNOSIS: The LiDAR sensor on top is obstructed, dirty, or stuck. This is a critical error—the robot can't navigate without it.
FIX: Power cycle the robot first. Pick it up, press and hold the power button on the side for 10 seconds until it fully shuts off. Wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on. While it's off, manually spin the clear plastic LiDAR turret on top with your finger to ensure it rotates freely without grinding.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: Clean the LiDAR window. Use a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth to gently wipe the clear circular window the laser shines through. Even one fingerprint can scatter the laser. Ensure the robot is docked in a location with a clear view of the room, not under a table.
HEADS UP: Never place objects on top of the robot. The LiDAR turret is delicate and must remain completely unobstructed. A common cause is a child or pet placing something on it.
