ryobi one+ drill feels really weak, barely drills into wood

Yeah, this one's common. First, check you're not in screwdriver mode by accident.

1. Look at the collar right behind the chuck. If it's set on a number (like 5 or 10), that's the clutch for driving screws. Turn it all the way to the drill bit symbol.
2. Make sure you're using the correct speed. The switch above the trigger has 1 (low speed/high torque) and 2 (high speed). Use speed 1 for drilling.
3. Try a fresh, fully charged battery. A weak battery delivers weak power.

If that didn't work, the bit is probably dull or wrong for the job. A spade bit or auger bit for wood will work better than a tired old twist bit. Swap it out.

If it's still weak with a fresh battery, sharp bit, and correct settings, the motor or electronics might be failing. Time to look into that 3-year warranty.
