DIAGNOSIS
The soundbar is receiving a signal via the HDMI eARC/ARC port but is not decoding it. The primary cause is an HDMI handshake failure or incorrect TV audio output settings.
FIX
1. On your TV, navigate to Sound Settings and set 'Audio Output' to 'Receiver (HDMI ARC)'.
2. Set 'Digital Output Audio Format' to 'PCM' as a test. Disable any TV-specific audio processing like 'TV Sound Connect'.
3. Power cycle the chain: unplug both TV and soundbar for 1 minute. Reconnect the HDMI cable firmly at both ends.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK
Bypass ARC. Connect your source device directly to a different soundbar HDMI input. Use the soundbar remote to change source to 'HDMI 1' or 'HDMI 2'. This isolates the problem to the TV's ARC port.
HEADS UP
Ensure you are using the provided HDMI cable or a certified Ultra High-Speed HDMI cable. Older or poor-quality cables can fail the eARC handshake, resulting in no audio.
