DIAGNOSIS The programming sequence wasn't completed. This brewer requires you to press 'Program' then set the time, then press 'Program' again to lock it in. Most people miss the final step.
FIX First, press 'Cancel/Off' to clear any stuck commands. Press 'Program'. Use the hour/minute buttons to set the time you want brewing to start. You must press 'Program' a second time to confirm. The 'Program' light will stay lit. Now load coffee and water. The brew cycle will start automatically at the set time.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal 24-hour clock battery may be dead. Unplug the unit for 5 minutes. Plug it back in. The clock will flash 12:00. You must set the clock correctly first before any timed programming will work.
HEADS UP If you lose power, the clock resets. A programmed brew will not occur unless you reset the clock after power is restored.
