Diagnosis
Soggy results usually mean there's too much moisture trapped or the air isn't circulating properly around the food.
How to Fix It
First, always use the air fry basket, not a tray, and don't overcrowd it. Food needs space for air to flow. Second, for items like fries or wings, pat them completely dry with paper towels before adding a little oil. Third, make sure you're using the correct rack position. For air frying, use the middle or lower position so the fan-driven heat hits the food directly. Finally, shake or turn the basket halfway through the cook time.
If That Didn't Work
Check that the rear fan is actually running. You should hear and feel a strong flow of hot air from the back when it's on. If the fan seems weak or isn't spinning, there could be a motor issue affecting performance.
Heads Up
This oven cooks differently than a basket-style air fryer. It's more like a convection oven. You might need to add a few minutes to the time or bump the temperature 25°F higher than a traditional air fryer recipe suggests for optimal crispness.
