DIAGNOSIS The new filter's packaging plastic or sealing tape was not fully removed before installation, blocking airflow.
FIX Power off and unplug the machine. Remove the filter cover and take out the HEPA/carbon filter. Inspect it thoroughly. Remove any clear plastic film or foam end caps that may still be attached. Reinstall the filter correctly.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The machine's airflow pathway may be obstructed. Check the rear intake grille and the front diffuser for blockages. Also, ensure the filter cover is locked on all the way.
HEADS UP Using non-Dyson replacement filters can cause this. Third-party filters often have higher airflow resistance, which the machine's motor is not designed for. This can lead to premature motor wear.
