DIAGNOSIS The primary cyclone or internal filters are clogged with fine dust, reducing airflow even with an empty bin.
FIX 1. Remove the bin and cyclone assembly from the main body. 2. Over a trash can, press the red 'bin release' button to detach the clear bin from the metal cyclone. 3. Rinse the clear bin and the metal cyclone shroud with cold water. Use a soft brush to dislodge fine dust from the cyclone's small grilles. Let all parts air-dry completely for 24 hours.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Wash both filters. The pre-motor filter (in the ball) and the post-motor filter (top of the bin) must be cleaned. Use cold water only, squeeze out moisture, and air-dry for a full 24+ hours. A damp filter will cripple suction.
HEADS UP Never use detergents or place filters near heat to dry. Incorrect washing or wet filters are the most common cause of persistent low suction.
