DIAGNOSIS The default picture profile is likely set to a mode like 'sRGB' or 'User', which has a limited color gamut for accuracy. Your laptop may be using a more saturated, vivid profile.
FIX Access the monitor's OSD menu. Navigate to 'Picture' settings. Change the 'Color Temperature' or 'Picture Mode' from 'sRGB' or 'Standard' to 'Game' or 'Vivid'. This will immediately increase saturation and contrast. Within the same menu, you can manually adjust 'Saturation' and 'Contrast' sliders upward.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The issue may be at the source. Check your computer's graphics settings. In Windows, search for 'Calibrate display color' and follow the wizard.
