DIAGNOSIS A general electronic fault. This is often triggered by a communication error between the main control board and the motor controller, or a stuck button.
FIX Unplug the Ninja Creami from the wall outlet. Wait for two full minutes. This allows all capacitors to discharge and the control board to fully reset. While unplugged, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to discharge any residual current. Plug it back in and try a cycle with a properly installed, empty pint.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The error indicates a deeper fault. Check for any visible damage to the power cord. Ensure you are using a dedicated outlet, not a power strip with other high-draw appliances. If the error returns, the main PCB or motor controller is likely faulty and needs service.
HEADS UP Do not repeatedly try to start it with the error code displayed. This can exacerbate an electrical fault. Persistent ERR codes are not user-serviceable. Contact Ninja customer support.
