DIAGNOSIS Error code P1 indicates a temperature sensor fault. The unit has detected an abnormal reading from its internal air temperature sensor.
FIX Perform a hard reset. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Wait 10 minutes. While unplugged, press and hold the Power button on the control panel for 30 seconds. Plug the unit back in. The P1 code should clear. Press the Power button to restart.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The ambient temperature may be outside the unit's operational range. Confirm the room temperature is between 62°F (17°C) and 90°F (32°C). Move the unit to a room within this range and try again.
HEADS UP If P1 returns after a successful reset and within normal temperatures, the sensor is likely faulty. This requires professional repair.
