DIAGNOSIS The device is in a software lock-up or failed update state. A solid blue ring indicates it's processing a command that never completed.
FIX Hold down the Action button (the one with the dot icon) for 25 seconds. The light will turn orange, then blue, and spin. This forces a full reboot. Wait for it to say hello.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Perform a factory reset. Press and hold the Action button for 35+ seconds until the light ring pulses orange, then turns off. You must set it up again in the Alexa app.
HEADS UP Frequent lock-ups can be caused by a weak or unstable Wi-Fi connection during updates. Ensure strong signal strength.
