the power light on my pixma mg3620 just blinks and it won't respond to any buttons.

DIAGNOSIS The blinking power light is an error sequence. A steady blink means a fatal error. The printer cannot initialize.

FIX Unplug the power cord from the wall and from the back of the printer. Wait 2 full minutes. Check the power cord for damage. Plug it firmly into the printer, then into a wall outlet you know works. Do not use a power strip. Press the Power button once.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal power supply or main logic board has failed. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. This requires a technician or replacement.

HEADS UP A steady, endless blink after a power cycle is a confirmed hardware failure. Do not attempt to disassemble the power supply. It contains capacitors that hold a dangerous charge.
