the rear speakers on my m512a-h6 are way too quiet compared to the soundbar, even at max volume

DIAGNOSIS The rear channel level is set too low in the soundbar's settings, or the audio source isn't sending a proper surround signal.

FIX Adjust the rear speaker level independently.

1. Press the 'Settings' button on the remote until 'Rear Level' appears on the soundbar display.
2. Use the Volume Up button to increase the level. The range is 0-15. Start at 10 and test.
3. Play a known Dolby Digital or DTS surround source (like a movie scene with rear effects) to test.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Your source may be sending stereo or a non-surround format. Check your TV or streaming device's audio settings and force output to 'Dolby Digital' if available.

HEADS UP Increasing the rear level too high (above 12) can cause audio distortion from the small satellite speakers. If they still sound weak at 12, the wireless signal may be poor—try relocating them.
