DIAGNOSIS The monitor is likely losing its video signal briefly, causing it to enter power-saving mode. This is usually a flaky connection, a power-saving setting on your computer, or the monitor's own auto-sleep function kicking in.
FIX First, check all cable connections firmly. Then, go into your computer's power settings (Windows: Power & Sleep settings; Mac: Energy Saver) and ensure the "Turn off display" or "Display sleep" timer is set to a long duration or "Never" while plugged in. The monitor just mirrors your computer's signal.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The monitor itself might have an auto-source detection or eco mode. Dig into the OSD menu (using the joystick) and look for settings like "Auto Sleep," "Eco Mode," or "Auto Source." Try disabling these features to see if it stops the random shut-offs.
HEADS UP If you're using a USB-C connection for both video and power, and your laptop goes to sleep or switches power states, it can momentarily cut power to the USB port, which will definitely make the monitor blink off. This is normal behavior, not a defect.
