DIAGNOSIS
Wireless interference is disrupting the 5.8GHz connection between the soundbar and subwoofer. Physical obstruction or competing devices are the most common causes.
FIX
1. Reposition the subwoofer. Ensure it is within 30 feet of the soundbar with a clear line of sight. Avoid placing it inside a cabinet or directly behind a large metal object.
2. Identify and relocate interference sources. Common culprits are: Wi-Fi 6E routers, microwave ovens in use, wireless gaming peripherals, or baby monitors.
3. Perform a factory reset on the soundbar. Press and hold the 'Play/Pause' button on the soundbar itself for 10 seconds until 'INIT OK' appears.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK
Update the firmware. Use the Samsung SmartThings app to check for and install the latest firmware. Connectivity improvements are often included in updates.
HEADS UP
Do not place the subwoofer directly on the floor in a corner if it's a suspended wood floor. Vibrations can disrupt the internal wireless antenna. Use an isolation pad or move it slightly.
