DIAGNOSIS This is almost always a clog or a full filter. Something is blocking the airflow path, so the motor can’t create proper suction.

FIX Let’s clear the airway. 1) Detach the wand from the main body. 2) Look into the opening on the vacuum body—see anything blocking the little grill? Use a long, thin object like a chopstick to gently clear it. 3) Now check the wand itself. Hold it up to a light and look through it. 4) Finally, detach the cleaner head from the wand. Hair and string often wrap around the brush bar ends and clog the intake. Cut and remove any debris.

IF THAT DIDN’T WORK The washable filter is likely saturated. Remove the bin assembly, then twist off the filter at the top. Rinse it under COLD water only—no soap—until the water runs clear. Squeeze out water and let it dry for a full 24 hours. Never put it back in damp.

HEADS UP Cleaning that filter monthly is crucial. Also, avoid vacuuming fine powders (like drywall dust or flour) with this vacuum—they will instantly clog the filter and can damage the motor seals.
