the touch screen on my sensi touch is really laggy or sometimes doesn't register my taps, have to press really hard.

DIAGNOSIS Screen protector interference or a failing capacitive touch sensor. Many users apply thick aftermarket screen protectors.

FIX Remove any third-party screen protector. Use only the included one. Clean the screen with a dry, soft microfiber cloth. Static or moisture on the screen can disrupt the capacitive field.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The unit may have a defective digitizer. There is no field repair. Contact Emerson support for a warranty replacement if under one year.

HEADS UP Never use liquids or cleaners on the screen. Do not press with sharp objects. The glass can crack.
