Diagnosis
The turntable motor is not engaged or has failed. The most common cause is improper installation of the turntable ring and glass plate.
How to Fix It
First, remove the glass plate and the plastic guide ring underneath. Clean any food debris from the cavity floor. Align the plastic ring's three tabs with the slots on the cavity floor. Press down until it clicks into place. Place the glass plate on the ring, ensuring the center hole aligns with the drive hub. The plate should rotate freely by hand.
If That Didn't Work
If the ring is correctly installed but the hub does not turn when the microwave runs, the drive motor or coupler is faulty. Unplug the microwave. Inspect the plastic drive hub under the ring for damage. A broken hub requires replacement.
Heads Up
Never operate the microwave without the glass plate and guide ring installed. It protects the cavity floor and ensures even cooking. The plate is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
