Diagnosis
The PTZ presets for the telephoto (zoomed) lens have gotten desynchronized from the wide-angle lens's view. This happens sometimes after a firmware update, power glitch, or if you manually move the camera while it's booting.
How to Fix It
You need to reset the lens synchronization. In the Reolink app, tap the PTZ control icon. Manually pan and tilt the camera so the telephoto lens (the zoomed view you see when you tap the zoom button) is centered on a distinct, distant object. Now, go to Settings > PTZ > PTZ Presets. Find Preset 1 (or whichever preset you use for 'home'). Tap the three dots or 'Set' button and select "Set as Tele Photo Position." This re-links where the zoom lens should look when the wide lens is in its default position.
If That Didn't Work
Perform a full PTZ recalibration. In the same PTZ settings menu, look for an option called "PTZ Self-Check" or "Recalibrate." The camera will spin through its full range of motion to find its mechanical limits. Do not interrupt power during this, which takes about a minute.
Heads Up
Don't manually adjust the camera's physical position by hand. You'll force the gears and throw the calibration off even worse. Always use the app's PTZ controls. If the lenses are *permanently* stuck looking in wildly different directions (like 90 degrees apart), there may be a mechanical failure inside the unit.
