The system delivers chilled water. If output temperature is insufficient, the chilling mechanism is underperforming.
- Ensure the unit has adequate ventilation. The under-counter model (23"h x 14"w x 22"d) requires clearance for air flow around the compressor.
- Verify the compressor is cycling. You should hear it engage periodically. It uses ozone-friendly R134a refrigerant and 800 watts when active.
- Check ambient temperature. If installed in a hot closet or next to an oven, it cannot cool efficiently. The system is designed for standard kitchen environments.
- Allow time for recovery after high demand. It delivers up to 31.7 gallons per hour of chilled water. Continuous use can outpace the chiller.
If conditions are optimal and water remains warm, the refrigerant charge or compressor may be faulty. Contact continuing service & maintenance.
