the wheels are stuck or wobbly, can i replace them?

— asked by Casey

DIAGNOSIS Dirt, hair, or carpet fibers are jammed in the wheel axles, or the plastic wheel mounts have cracked.

FIX Tilt the heater back (do not lay it down). Manually rotate each wheel to check for obstruction. Use needle-nose pliers to remove any wrapped debris from the axle. Wipe the wheels with a damp cloth.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The wheel assemblies are not a standard user-replaceable part. You must contact De'Longhi parts and service for the specific wheel kit and installation.

HEADS UP Never move the heater by pulling the cord or the thermostat knob. Always push using the sturdy handle.
