DIAGNOSIS The wireless module on the generator and the remote are not paired or have lost synchronization.
FIX Re-pair the remote to the generator.
1. On the generator's control panel, press and hold the wireless pairing button for 5 seconds until the wireless LED flashes rapidly.
2. Within 30 seconds, press and hold the 'ON' button on the remote for 5 seconds until its LED flashes.
3. Wait. The generator's wireless LED should turn solid green, indicating a successful pair.
4. Test the remote start function from at least 20 feet away.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Replace the battery in the remote (CR2032). A weak remote battery is a common cause of pairing failure.
HEADS UP The remote operates on a specific frequency. If you have multiple Generac inverter generators nearby, you may accidentally pair to the wrong unit.
