DIAGNOSIS The thermostat's Wi-Fi radio is failing to maintain a stable connection. This is often due to router compatibility settings or signal interference.
FIX In your router settings, disable WPA3-SAE authentication if enabled. The Sensi Touch is only certified for WPA2-PSK. Also, disable any 'AP Isolation', 'Client Isolation', or 'IGMP Snooping' features. Ensure the thermostat's firmware is updated to the latest version via the app.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band may be congested. Log into your router and change the 2.4GHz channel to 1, 6, or 11. Ensure the thermostat is not placed directly next to large metal objects that cause interference.
HEADS UP If you have a mesh network system, the thermostat may be struggling with roaming between nodes. Try temporarily disabling band steering or create a dedicated 2.4GHz SSID for the thermostat to connect to.
