trying to connect it to wifi but it just won't find my network during setup.

DIAGNOSIS The printer's wireless radio cannot detect the network. Primary causes are incorrect router settings or physical obstruction.

FIX Verify router compatibility. The HL-L2350DW supports 2.4 GHz networks only. It will not see a 5 GHz SSID. Ensure your router's 2.4 GHz band is enabled. Move the printer closer to the router, within 3-5 feet for setup. On the printer control panel, navigate: Menu > Network > WLAN > Setup Wizard. Select your network's SSID from the list. Enter the password exactly, noting case sensitivity.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The router's security protocol may be incompatible. The printer supports WPA2-PSK (AES). It does not support WPA3. Temporarily change your router's security to WPA2-PSK (AES) to test. Also disable any 'hidden SSID' or 'MAC filtering' settings during initial setup.

HEADS UP The printer's wireless signal is weaker than most laptops or phones. Permanent placement more than 30 feet from the router, or through multiple walls, will cause intermittent drops.
