DIAGNOSIS Internal leakage. The most common source is a cracked or misaligned water reservoir, or a failed internal O-ring seal where the reservoir connects to the base.
FIX Isolate the source immediately:
1. Remove the water reservoir. Dry the entire machine and the reservoir's connecting surface.
2. Inspect the clear plastic reservoir for hairline cracks, especially around the bottom and the black base connector.
3. Fill the reservoir separately over the sink. Look for drips. If it's cracked, you need a new reservoir.
4. If the reservoir is intact, check the black rubber O-ring seal inside the machine's water intake port. Ensure it's clean and seated properly.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The leak could be from the internal pump or tubing, which is not accessible. If everything external is dry and intact, the leak is internal. This requires contacting Keurig for service or replacement.
HEADS UP Do not continue using a leaking appliance. Water inside the electronics can cause a short circuit or create an electrical hazard. Unplug it until the leak is fixed.
