DIAGNOSIS Two likely culprits: a partially clogged water line from scale, or the machine is stuck in a low-volume brew setting from a previous pod.
FIX First, reset the brew volume to the strongest setting:
1. Place a mug and a fresh K-Cup. Lift and close the handle to start.
2. Press and HOLD the brew button. Water will start. Release the button the moment your mug is as full as you want it. The machine now remembers *that* as the brew size.
3. For a full, strong cup, don't release until you have 10+ ounces.
If that doesn't fix it, run a descale (see above). Scale reduces water flow and temperature.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check your K-Cup. Some "extra bold" pods have a thicker filter that requires the strongest setting. Also, ensure you're using the 6-8 oz setting, not the 4 oz setting, for standard pods.
HEADS UP The K-Mini has no screen or buttons to show brew size. It's purely mechanical memory based on your last manual stop. You have to reprogram it whenever you want a different strength.
