Diagnosis
Water is escaping from the internal drain system. This usually means the drain plug on the back isn't fully closed, or the silicone seal around it has failed.
How to Fix It
Unplug the machine and pull it away from the wall. On the back, near the bottom, you'll find a small rubber or plastic drain plug. It looks like a little knob. Make sure it's pushed in all the way and turned to the "closed" position (usually clockwise). Dry the area completely, plug it back in over a towel, and run it. If it's still leaking, the plug itself might be cracked or the O-ring inside is damaged.
If That Didn't Work
The leak could be internal, from a loose hose connection or a cracked water pan. This is less common, but if you're sure the drain plug is sealed, the unit likely needs to be opened for inspection, which is a more complex fix.
Heads Up
Never operate a leaking ice maker on a wooden floor or near carpet. The water can cause significant damage. Always place it on a waterproof tray or in a sink until the leak is resolved.
