DIAGNOSIS A leak from the bottom usually means an internal hose has come loose, a seal has failed, or the water reservoir isn’t seated perfectly on its valve.
FIX Start with the simplest fix. 1) Remove the water reservoir. 2) Check the black rubber gasket (O-ring) around the valve at the bottom of the reservoir and where it sits on the machine. Wipe it clean of any debris or slime. 3) Re-seat the reservoir firmly, listening for a click. 4) Also, ensure the drip tray and cup platform are correctly inserted—if they’re misaligned, overflow can drip down the front and under the machine.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The leak might be internal. Unplug the machine, remove the reservoir, and tip it back (over an empty sink) to see if water drains out from inside. If so, an internal tank or connection has cracked—this typically requires a warranty service call.
HEADS UP Never move the machine when the reservoir is full or shortly after brewing. The hot, sloshing water can stress those internal connections and cause leaks.
