brother hl-l2350dw driver install fails every time, says not enough disk space. how much does it actually need?

You need 80MB of free disk space. Clear space and reinstall.

  1. Check your computer's available storage. Free up at least 80MB.
  2. Download the driver directly from http://support.brother.com/. Do not use a bundled CD or old file.
  3. Run the installer as an administrator on Windows.

If that didn't work:

  • Your OS might be unsupported. Confirm you're using Windows 7 SP1, 8, 8.1, 10 (specific editions), a supported Windows Server version, or macOS v10.10.5-v10.12.x.
  • If on Windows, ensure you have the correct driver for your system type (32-bit x86 or 64-bit x64).
