A flashing toner indicator means the cartridge is low and needs replacement soon.
- The inbox toner cartridge yields approximately 700 pages.
- The standard yield replacement (TN-2410) is 1,200 pages.
- The high yield replacement (TN-2420) is 3,000 pages.
You can continue printing until the indicator becomes solid or print quality degrades. Have a replacement TN-2410 or TN-2420 cartridge ready. The drum unit (DR-2400) lasts approximately 12,000 pages and is replaced separately.
For proactive monitoring, enable E-mail Notifications in the printer's web interface. It will send an alert when the toner is low.
