Diagnosis
The soft-touch matte plastic exterior can attract dust and develop a slight tackiness over time, especially in humid environments or from skin oils.
How to Fix It
Power off and unplug the Cube. Use a dry, soft, microfiber cloth (like the kind for glasses or screens) to gently wipe the entire exterior. The microfiber will grab dust without scratching. For sticky spots, slightly dampen a corner of the cloth with distilled water, wring it out completely, and wipe gently, then immediately dry with the dry part of the cloth.
If That Didn't Work
For persistent grime, use a tiny amount of isopropyl alcohol (70% or less) on the microfiber cloth. Apply to the cloth first, never directly to the Cube. Wipe gently and dry immediately. Alcohol evaporates quickly and is safe for electronics when used sparingly.
Heads Up
Never use abrasive cleaners, paper towels, window cleaner, or compressed air (which can force dust into the vents). Avoid getting any moisture in the top vent slits or the rear ports.
