Diagnosis
A complete failure of both heat and spin points to a main power board issue inside the base or a broken internal connection, often from a drop or liquid spill.
How to Fix It
Check the obvious first. Ensure the plug is fully seated in the outlet and the power cord is firmly plugged into the base of the unit. Try a different outlet. If still dead, internal repair is needed.
If That Didn't Work
There is no user-serviceable fix. The internal thermal fuse may have blown permanently, or the main control board is faulty.
Heads Up
These symptoms after a drop or a spill (even on the base, not the barrel) almost always mean internal damage. Discontinue use.
