Yes. You can use a cleaning sheet available on the market for paper feed roller cleaning. The procedure is identical whether using a commercial cleaning sheet or a sheet of A4/Letter-sized plain paper.
The steps from the printer are:
- Power on, remove all paper from the front tray.
- Open the paper output tray.
- Hold the Stop button until the Alarm lamp flashes seven times, then release. The rollers rotate clean without paper.
- After rollers stop, close output tray, load one cleaning sheet (or plain paper) into the front tray.
- Open output tray extension and support.
- Hold Stop until Alarm flashes seven times again to run cleaning with the sheet, which then ejects.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If paper feed problems continue after cleaning, the roller may be worn or the issue may be mechanical. Contact Canon service.
