canon mg3620 power light is on but it won't print anything from my computer

First, check the printer's wireless connection and your computer's print queue. If those are clear, the issue is likely a clogged print head. Run a standard cleaning cycle directly from the printer.

  1. Make sure the printer is on.
  2. Press and hold the Stop button until the Alarm lamp flashes twice, then release it.
  3. Wait for the ON lamp to stop flashing and stay lit (takes 1-2 minutes).
  4. Try printing a test page.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK:

  • If output is still faint or missing, perform a deep cleaning. Hold the Stop button until the Alarm lamp flashes three times, then release. Wait for completion.
  • If the deep cleaning doesn't resolve it, power the printer off (do not unplug), wait 24 hours, and run deep cleaning again.

HEADS UP: Cleaning consumes ink. If problems persist after a second deep cleaning and a new FINE cartridge, the print head may be faulty—contact service.
