Yes. Put it in AP mode.

  1. Connect a computer to the Orbi network via WiFi or Ethernet.
  2. Open a browser, go to orbilogin.com, and log in.
  3. Select ADVANCED > Advanced > Router/AP Mode.
  4. Select the AP Mode radio button.
  5. Click Apply. The router reboots.

After reboot:

  • Do NOT connect the Orbi's Internet port to anything.
  • Connect one of the Orbi router's LAN Ethernet ports (Ports 1-3) to a LAN port on your existing ISP router.
  • The Orbi now functions as a WiFi access point and switch.

If that didn't work, ensure you're using a wired connection to the Orbi when changing this setting to avoid being disconnected.

In AP mode, features like parental controls and traffic meter that require the router to be the gateway will be disabled.
