how do i block specific websites on my netgear orbi whole home network?

DIAGNOSIS: You need to configure keyword blocking in the router's admin settings.

FIX:

  1. Access the router interface by going to orbilogin.com in a browser on a connected device.
  2. Log in with admin credentials (username: admin).
  3. Navigate to ADVANCED > Security > Block Sites.
  4. Select a keyword blocking option: Per Schedule or Always.
  5. In the Type keyword or domain name here field, enter the exact keyword or domain (e.g., 'socialmedia' or '.com').
  6. Click the Add Keyword button.
  7. Click the Apply button to save and activate the blocking.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK:

  • Ensure the schedule (if using Per Schedule) is correctly configured on the Schedule page.
  • The keyword list supports up to 32 entries. Verify you haven't exceeded the limit.
  • To block all browsing, enter a single period (.) in the keyword field.
