The unit is for household use in dry, indoor rooms. Moisture can cause electric shock, short circuits, or product failure. Place it on a hard, flat surface in a room like a bedroom or living room.
If that didn't work: Also avoid placing it near a stove, where it may contact steam, or near a deep fryer which generates oily residue. Keep it at least 12 inches from walls for airflow.
